Charter companies and/or charter brokers

Let us explain the difference between charter company and charter brokers.
Charter brokers have combined all charter companies that are registered for charter in Croatia and therefor have the largest fleet of the yachts available. Brokers receive commission from the charter companies which does not affect your price in any way. There are many advantageous of booking with a charter brokers as they are very knowledgeable about every single boat and can better offer service that you are requesting. Charter brokers have all the information and are not biased like charter companies (who of course are offering only their own boats whichever conditions they’re in). This is very helpful to all the clients who are not searching for a specific boat but rather have in mind a rough idea, which I am sure charter broker will bring to its happening. Charter brokers are more familiar with the area around them ( for example Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Italy and Turkey ) as they probably had clients who visited all the above mentioned and are far more familiar with the procedure you might need help in.

If you decide to contact a charter company, there are some factors you need to consider.

Croatia has many charter companies and they differ from 1 or 2 yachts until 20 yachts in the fleet. It has not been a secret that each year some companies’ close and new ones open. These companies usually have just a couple of boats. You need to be very careful, as they can be gone with the amount you already paid for your charter and you will not receive the boat you paid for charter. An established history is always a good thing to check when you are booking your boat. Having said that, charter brokers can handle most situations more professional whether they need to switch your group to another boat of the same type, or make any kind of refund due to the size in their fleet.
Another think that we need to point out is to the companies that are investing in the marketing. If a company advertises each month, that means that they offer food product with a good price and that their profit allows them to advertise, which is a very good indicator.
Last, but certainly not least is the staff of the company that you are in contact with. If they are very helpful, knowledgeable about the area, offering additional services you know you are at the right place.
