Makarska
Makarska has always been the administrative, political, economic, cultural center of Makarska riviera and since the mid-twentieth century of tourism as well.
Today it is a city with more than 15 thousand inhabitants that encompasses picturesque villages at Biokovo Mountain, Puharići, Kotišina the least of which is the name of Makarska. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Croatian coast, attractive for its nature and climate, rich in tourist attractions and friendly hosts. Sandy beaches, long almost 2 km and it was, and still recognizable. The walkways are lined with pine trees, there are various tourist facilities, luxury hotels, catering establishments with the gourmet cuisine, and plenty of fun for kids and adults.
